The weather officially feels like summer! It is warm but not unbearable yet. We are really enjoying our time outdoors. We have a packed week planned but hope to make time to pick cherries at a friend’s house and make it to a semi-local strawberry patch to pick strawberries. (We made it today to pick mini-cherries!) I hope to be better this week with preparing a head of time for the days we will be away from home, which is several, so that it isn’t so stressful.
Above are the first wild Dewberries (Blackberries) of the season. My kids were so excited to see them sitting on the table to eat with dinner! They were oh so yummy! Austin quickly claimed the dish on the right since it had the most berries.
We planted our fourth raised bed over the weekend and my potatoes are growing like crazy. I hope to add at least two more beds this year. I would love more, but have to be realistic as to what we have to work with. Here is what we have planned for the week:

Dinner-Baked Chicken with Stuffing, Garlic Cheddar Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Corn
Thursday:
Breakfast-Scrambled Eggs, Hashbrowns, Fruit
Lunch- Bean Burritos
Dinner-Chili Corn Muffins, Salad
Friday:
Breakfast-Baked Oatmeal
Lunch-Hummus, Crackers, Deviled Eggs, Cheese Slices, Apples
Dinner-Bacon, Cheese & Spinach Strata or Leftovers depending on how the day goes
