Okay, hands down I will say I love to cook, but am I a neat one? No. I do try to clean as I go along, but no matter how careful I try to be, I always end up with some sort of food on me, if not from prep work or cooking, from the kiddos. I had been looking for an organic apron that was not only made from organic material but was also cute and trendy. When I was introduced to A Greener Kitchen, I was so excited to find that they are actually handmade here in the US using organic materials and cute ones at that!

They offer eco-friendly kitchen products and accessories, including organic cotton aprons and reusable produce bags. They are also a Green America Approved Business and members of One Percent for the Planet. I love finding businesses that offer sustainable products that truly care!
These cute aprons are made from a thicker material which is nice to protect your clothing from whatever you are making whether it be spaghetti sauce or canning some peaches which is what I will be doing some of this weekend! It has a nice size pocket you can tuck your utensils in to keep them close by or store your iPhone to quickly look up kitchen tips online.
I love that it is cut and sewn in the USA by family-owned Tailoredwear, Inc. They are made for A Greener Kitchen using fabric sourced from Harmony Art, one of the USA’s few eco-friendly textile artisans. Harmony Art sources their organic cotton from Texas and India. For their fabrics made in India, the fiber is Fair Trade Certified, and the fabric is produced in a Fair Trade certified facility.
I choose the bright Eyes of the World design in a full apron. A Greener Kitchen also makes children aprons and aprons for that special man in your life that likes to cook.
