I loved it when my Mother would visit the school and stay for lunch. Grandparents day was one I looked forward to when I was in elementary school! Although there were things at the school I loved to eat (pizza and potato bar day, even chef salad day once I was in Middle School) there were other days I was totally reminded of why I loved for my Mother to pack my lunch, Goulash! I have the gross stories too, but I will keep those to myself!

Both my parents worked and my mom was in night school when I was growing up so I had hot lunch most days. But my mom usually forgot to send the money in and we had to beg the lunch lady to give us lunch anyway!
